Pan position in single patch mode

I've been using xplorer to load in new stored presets and in single patch mode, the pan position for the 6 voices is now distributed from far left to far right. The thing I am stumped on is I cannot change the pan position from this to anything else (such as mid for all 6 voices). The only way to do this is in multi mode, but this only affects multi's. Am I missing something simple?

Re: Pan position in single patch mode

I do it this way on the Xpander:
- MASTER PAGE
- then select PAN on the lower screen (SINGLE = PAN)
- you can then adjust the position for each of  the 6 voices.

FYI, Xplorer does not handle pan position. The setting has to be done on the Xpander. It's a general setting in single mode.

Re: Pan position in single patch mode

Any plans to  make a MULTI editor as well - like Sound Quest/Midi Quest?

Re: Pan position in single patch mode

Hi obiwan, thanks for the tip. The other point I have been struggling with is saving multi's. I like to stack all 6 voices with the same patch and run in unison mode. I edit some of the parameters across all 6 voices simultaneously (such as freq and res) however when I then want to save the multi, the xpander says no because the single patch has been edited. So the only way around this seems to be to export the entire memory via xplorer, then load it back in when I want pickup where I left off.

Re: Pan position in single patch mode

This is a limitation of the Xpander itself. I can't detect the current editing mode. Sorry but Xplorer does not support Multi. You have to switch to single, then store the result, and then edit the multi manually. I have no plan to implement support for multi mode.

No problem.
I think  you have made a brilliant tool just as it is.
Thanks again.
