Running Xplorer on a Mac

Xplorer does not run natively on a Mac yet.

You have two main solutions to run Xplorer on a Mac:
1) Using an Intel based Mac, a dual boot (BootCamp) with Windows will run Xplorer without problems.

2) You can also use a virtualization technology such as:
- Parallels Desktop (http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/)
- VMWare Fusion (http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/overview.html),
- Oracle VM Virtual Box (https://www.virtualbox.org/) (this one is free),
more info here: http://www.itworld.com/virtualization/2 … virtualbox
All of them allow you to run any Windows application without rebooting your Mac.
CAUTION : Please verify that the virtualization technology supports MIDI and/or your MIDI interface. Xplorer is reported to work with Parallels (see this post:  http://xplorer.programmer.free.fr/bb/vi … hp?id=104). but some problems are still unresolved with VmWare ( http://xplorer.programmer.free.fr/bb/vi … php?id=106 , http://xplorer.programmer.free.fr/bb/vi … hp?id=107).
