Re: Not enough sysex data

I  this comes from rtpMidi.
Can you change timing settings in rtpMidi (latency or something similar) ?

EDIT:
Did you installed the VmWare Tools in Vmware ? : http://www.vmware.com/support/ws55/doc/ … ls_ws.html
Do you have this problem while changing the patch from Xplorer or by changing the patch from your Xpander/Matrix-12, or both ?
Thank you.

Re: Not enough sysex data

Yes vm tools are installed.

The problem only happens when changing patches in Xplorer.  I can change patches on the synth and Xplorer UI  fine.  The other way it borks with the aforementioned exception.

The error is very easy to replicate if you have a mac, fusion with rtpMidi (freeware).

Via rtpMidi->mac audio midi setup I am routing the midi to the instrument.  This is essential, as it allows me to integrate with the DAW hosted in osx. BTW any plans to compile as a plugin wink
Latency should be very low since its a virtual network. There is not additional controls, it couples with macs built in network midi.  I will investigate alternatives to rtpMidi also.

Thanks,

Wilson

Thank you for this details, It helps me to understand where the problem is. The workflows are not exactly the same in Xplorer depending on how the program change is handled (from Xplorer or from synth, because timing handling is different). Will try to understand where the problem is.

Sorry for the plugin version, but no chance. Too much work for that.
